Patrick Alayon is an Associate at the Firm.  Mr. Alayon has a wide range of experiences in multiple demanding fields.  These experiences have left him well versed in the many different problems that the world presents and the most effective ways to solve these problems and improve people’s lives.

He earned a degree in Bio-Engineering from MIT and worked in laboratories at MIT where he contributed to studying and documenting scientific findings, as well as presenting these findings to peer-review groups.  He has also earned a Masters of Finance from MIT, studying the ways in which the creative use of money allows ideas to become reality.  He applied this knowledge on Wall Street, beginning his career at a major trading desk at Merrill Lynch’s Wall Street office and following that by working with the Supervisory Management desk at JPMorgan Private Bank in Midtown Manhattan constructing analytical software to assist the bank with managing risk and client relationships more efficiently.

After his time on Wall Street, Mr. Alayon eventually decided that he wished to devote his life to helping others achieve justice, and decided that practicing law was his calling.  He earned his JD from the University of Miami, graduating Magna cum laude and earning the Book Award in Securities Law in the Spring Semester of 2014 (highest grade).  While in law school, he successfully interned at the Complex Business Division of the Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami, Florida, where he worked for the Asset Forfeiture division.  He also held a summer associate position at a firm located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he worked on cases concerning arbitration between clients and financial advisors, wills and trusts administration, and breach of contract.

Mr. Alayon is licensed to practice law in Florida State Courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Washington D.C. Circuit Court and Court of Appeals.

Mr. Alayon has experience litigating a wide range of cases, primarily focused on plaintiffs work.  He has successfully sued insurance companies that refuse to cover their policyholders for catastrophic losses, and has also successfully recovered judgments against those who did not live up to their contracts.  Mr. Alayon has successfully recovered for his clients not just in court but also in mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Alayon has also assisted in defending a large risk management group in various cases, and has experience defending individuals against accusations of criminal or corporate misconduct.  He also has experience litigating divorces with hidden assets and probating estates and advising corporate clients on how best to comply with the law.

Mr. Alayon brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences to the table that few possess, and applies it all in an effort to achieve the best result for his clients.
